Dina AbdelRahman is an Egyptian journalist, tv host, and artist. She worked for several Egyptian channels and was famous for presenting the morning talk show. Dina worked in her television beginnings in Dream Channel as a presenter of programs. In 2007 she presented the Morning Dream program as the first morning program to be broadcast on a private Egyptian channel, but she was prevented from appearing on the channel on July 25, 2011 due to several phone calls she made during the program with Egyptian military figures, such as Major General Hassan Al-Ruwaini and the military strategic expert, Major General Abdel Moneim Kato. Many Egyptian and international human rights organizations considered that dismissing Dina from her job constituted a real threat to media freedom in Egypt.
